Say hello to Powersensor version 2.2.17
A note from the Powersensor team:
Hi everyone!
The Powersensor team has been working on a major new feature update for you. Now we're finally ready for launch.
If you're already using our Energy Monitoring Kit and have solar installed at home, you can now see your exported energy data in-app. For free! Previously you'd have only been able to see your imported (consumption) energy data.
To see your exported energy data, please do a factory reset for your plug and sensor. No factory reset required if you're setting up your Powersensor for the first time. Visit our Help Centre for a step-by-step guide on how to factory reset your devices.
If you want to monitor your solar generation data, you can buy an additional sensor to upgrade to our Solar Monitoring Kit. (Now renamed as the Advanced Solar Monitoring Solution.)
Visit www.powersensor.com.au/pricing to see the full comparison.
Other updates include:
- Fixed account timezone not being set correctly
- Fixed a bug that caused app freeze upon installation
- Other minor bug fixes
Enjoy the new app update - we'd love to hear about your experience!
Stay warm,
Josiah from Powersensor

Just bought me Powersensor and this is great. But are there any plans to add functionality for powersensor to be natively integrate into home automation systems such as home assistant? Would be endlessly useful to be able to monitor usage/solar data from there.
Hi Jonathan Seymour!
Glad to hear you're loving your Powersensor. Would love to hear any other feedback you may have, so please feel free to let us know here or email hello@powersensor.com.au.
Smart home energy management is on our future roadmap to build, along with hardwired appliance monitoring and water-meter monitoring. You can vote for this feature to be prioritised over others on our Feature Roadmap page.
Thanks,
Hannah
