Some customers have reported problems connecting the Powersensor plug to WiFi networks that use a Telstra Smart Gen 3 modem. There seems to be an issue when the Telstra modem is used in mixed WPA2/3 mode for WiFi security. We are looking at what may be the precise cause however it may take some time to track down. This issue hasn’t appeared with any other modems so far.
A simple fix is to set the modem so that it works in WPA2 mode only (not in the mixed WPA2/3 mode) for the 2.4GHz network, and start the install process over.

I experienced a similar issue installing the powersensor plug with a Synology RT2600AC router. It appears the plug connects to WiFi but then the App cannot establish a connection to the plug. I run multiple other IOT devices in WPA2/WPA3 mode without issue. The only resolution was to change the mode to WPA2 only. Please fix this issue.
