Not only can you monitor GPO plugged appliances with the WIFI Plug, but now you can also monitor larger hardwired appliances.
Adding a sensor to a new or existing Powersensor solution allows you to monitor hardwired appliances with an accessible conduit, such as air conditioners, and ovens.
Powersensor also works with appliances connected to outdoor power points and outlets rated above 10A.
For appliances used in an indoor setting and connected to a 10A GPO we recommend using the WiFi plug.

You sure can. The sensor is suitable for outdoor-rated appliances such as pool pumps, outdoor kitchens and the like. You can also monitor appliances attached to an outdoor GPO.
Will I still need a WiFi Plug?
You will still require the WiFi plug as part of your standard Powersensor solution. The WiFi Plug is used to calibrate your energy data and it acts as a gateway between your sensor and your WiFi router.
How many appliances can I monitor?
With the Powersensor solution, you can monitor up to nine (9) appliances in total, made up of either hard-wired appliance-sensors or WiFi-Plugs.
What is the sensor's range?

How long will the hardwired appliance sensor take to calibrate?
Immediately after you have installed your new Powersensor Solution, the devices enter an initial learning period for approximately 48 hours.
