If you see an error message stating that ‘The device is already bound, possibly to another account’, this can happen for a couple of reasons:
1. Logged in to the wrong account
You may have accidentally logged in using a different method (e.g. Google or Apple sign-in) instead of the email address originally used to create your account.
- Try logging in again with an alternative method.
- Look for a “Welcome to Powersensor” email in your inbox to confirm which email address you used when signing up.
2. Device already linked to another account
This can occur if:
- You’ve received a refurbished device, or
- You’ve tried to add your device to a new account.
If your device is bound to another account, please email us at support@powersensor.com.au with the device’s serial number. This will allow us to identify which account it is linked to and unbind it for you.
