How do I know what type of solar inverter I have?

There are two types of inverters, solar inverters and solar micro-inverters. 

The easiest way to determine which inverter you have is to check if you have a solar inverter mounted on a wall on the side of your house or in your garage.  As micro-inverters are built into each individual solar panel on your roof you won't be able to access them.
